Devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe has evolved over nearly five centuries in a deep and multifaceted tradition throughout the entire American continent. His image has exceeded any theological analysis. After Jesus of Nazareth, is the most reproduced in the Western Hemisphere.

In this mural "Under the Rainbow" that the Rev. Heidi Newmark commissioned Flavio Pellegrino, the Virgin of Guadalupe embraces Martin Luther and Frederick Douglass and welcomes all visitors to Trinity Lutheran Church of Manhattan.
