BIOGRAPHY

Born in Rosario, Argentina, December 1972. Since childhood Flavio showed an interest in art. At the age of four, he began studying at the Miguel Angel Private Academy of Fine Arts, obtaining the title of Art Professor by the age of twelve.

As a teenager, Flavio improved his artistic expressions with new techniques. He combined painting with other disciplines such as art craft, sculpture and literature, which helped him to create the inner world that he needed. Then he spent seven years on a hard journey, visiting and showing his work in more than sixty cities in Argentina and also in several other countries of South America.

In his middle twenties he started travelling around the world to study other styles or art. While visisting Miami, USA, he participated in the Art Festival CALLE 8, (a festival attended by more than two hundred artists).

In October of 2003 he had his first individual exhibition named “Bird in Flames” at the JADITE GALLERIES in New York City. Reviews in the local press were excellent and his work was appreciated by the public.

In January 2006, there was an exhibition at JADITE presenting his new series of figurative images titled "Into the Ocean".

In September, JNYMedia.com published Flavio Pellegrino's first book of poetry "20 Lágrimas Blancas • 20 White Tears".

Currently, Flavio is working on his new project called "Trampoline" and starting work on a collaborative project with JNYMedia.com.
